Meandering around York

Today was spent meandering around York - we walked part of the walls and followed the directions of a 24 year old book for the rest of the walk. Its interesting to see how many shops / buildings had changed since the book was put together.
The blossom is outside the national trust gift shop on College Road. We had entertainment from the Morris Ladies of Helmsley, a very loud band doing covers and even some bagpies.
A beautiful day for a walk.
Now in Selby staying with family looking out at the cathedral.
