Spring is in the air ...

I think these are a kind of Crane-fly. At any rate, they are trying to multiply although I think there are far too many of them when the weather is wet and they are all over the lawn and trying to get in through the windows. The one on the right has emerald-green eyes, and the eyes of the left one are more olive-green.

Today was quite a good day for insects and I also photographed an interesting little bee which is in my folio. I think it is Nomada fulvicornis and if anyone can enlighten me I would be very grateful!
