Beach walk....

We've had a peaceful day here today....began with a bit of work, we needed to prepare one of the cabins for people arriving today for a week.....then after lunch we headed off for a bit of an exploration!

Headed up the east coast a bit, and ended up at a spot called Indian Brooke. We could see from the road that the waves were quite large and active....eventually we found a way down to the beach and walked for quite a way. This beach, like many around here, is completely made up of rocks.....amazingly beautiful rocks, that sing as the water rushes in and out over them, such an amazing sound! But they can be tricky to walk over. We found this large pond, mostly cut off from the sea and noticed this interesting movement in the water. So we ventured down a bit further to investigate.....we found the point where the sea ran into this pond! The patterns made by the movement of the waves was absolutely captivating....i think i took about 30 shots just standing in one spot, as the waves moved in and out. It was a difficult choice today.....but i feel like i've put forth the one that gave me the biggest....ahhh...when i saw it on the screen!
