Street Silhouette

Got up at crazy o'clock (5am! in the morning!) for the flight to Nice and arrived in time to get a leisurely second breakfast whilst waiting for our flat to be vacated and cleaned... I took the opportunity to rattle off one of my photography exercises, this one being a basic introduction to street photography. So the brief was simply to go around taking pictures of people in public without getting beaten up :-)

I took some pictures at the market and a few up on top of the chateau hill overlooking the promenade. This one was shot straight into the sun and I liked the silhouette effect.

And no-one beat me up :-)
