Dee and I went to Cape Point today and walked up to the lighthouse - very strenous on the very edge of the African continent. There were such amazing views and I made a pig of myself with photos. But then we came down to Buffels baai and there were the baboons. We took up a position not more than two arm lengths away from a huge mother and her baby digging up grass roots. Well this is the little boy baby. So so beautiful it brings tears to your eyes. Then there were screams from the distance and a baboon had got hold of a little kid - just held him by the arm - no damage. And worst of all it was a foreigner or rather tourist's child.
