Post Office Sorting Office, Edinburgh (gone)

The modern sorting office complex that stood here was designed by Basil Spence.

"Great silver industrial shed in wriggly tin, with slender, scarlet chimneys..."

I quite liked the building that stood here prior to demolition. Evidently not as admired as his work on Coventry Cathedral or the Southside Garage in Edinburgh.
