On our way back - day two.
the journey to Glasgow yesterday from Mull was fine, and we had our customary dinner in Bella Italia - there must be other eating places but we just like BI - and we know where it is!
Today we left early and caught a really early train from Glasgow to Edinburgh in case there were too many bikes turning up for the train.
We needn't have worried, we were the only ones.
There was a group of guys with bottles in plastic bags and cartons of cans drinking tonic wine and awful blue stuff out of a plain bottle at 8 in the morning who got on at the first stop outside Glasgow. Sounded like they were off to the football and it was an early kick-off so had to get tanked up at breakfast time.
Very nice run down to Peterborough and then Audley End from where we cycled home.
