I decided to take the train to Burnham-on-Crouch today for a waterside wander today. I went there a few weeks ago with my sister and decided to go back there to explore further. I was glad that my ankle was in fine working order after the potato-slipping incident the other day, so had a long walk along by the water in both directions. I walked by the marina and along the marshes, watching the yachts sail by and was excited to spot the first swallows I've seen this year, swooping over the water. A lovely, peaceful day!
