Temporary Escape

Today I was allowed to take MrsCyclops out for the afternoon as ehr blood pressure is fairly stable just now. We went for lunch at a cafe in Musselburgh, but after sitting up for a couple of hours she was so exhausted she had to have a lie down and a bit of a nap in the back of the car to recover.

We went for a very brief stroll along the River Esk to look at the Swans, Geese, Coots and Ducks. Plenty of birds sitting on nests, no sign of hatched chicks yet.

Then it was a very quick trip to the shop to get her some magazines, and back to the hospital (much earlier than originally planned) so she could have a nice nap again...

Poor MrsCyclops, she's so sick of the hospital that she really wanted to escape for a bit, but so exhausted and weak that she had to go back early!

I think she enjoyed herself though - I certainly really enjoyed being with her outside her temporary institutional home for a change!
