Where would you rather be?

Construction of a World War One trench on Camping Close today in Linton.  Not a sight you see every day!  A lot of hard work has gone into it.

Apparently the lads will be dressing up as WW1 soldiers this evening (as they will tomorrow) and doing a pub crawl round the village, I expect that will turn a few heads too.

The History's Alive Day begins with a parade down the High Street at 10.45, hope to see lots of people there.  Message to fellow blippers, perhaps we all ought to bring an album cover, so we recognise each other ??

Anyway, it tickled me to see all the authenticity of the trench, including a gun poking menacingly out, but right underneath it a mug of tea which read "I'd rather be on twitter".
