heart throb

Today is the first day I have had the windows open since last year!
And what a cacophony of bird noises are drifting in!
I guess we are all celebrating this wonderful taste of summer to come.
This male house finch got my attention because of the brilliant red coloring that looks like a fountain being pumped out of his heart shaped body.
What a heart throb he is!
