Oh Christmas tree

A bit of a cooking frenzy this morning to get ready for our guests tomorrow. This cake was based on an idea in an ASDA magazine, but I made a lightly spiced cake instead of a plain sponge.

I attempted a cleaning frenzy this afternoon, but I am a lot less interested in cleaning than I am in food.

Tonight we built and played Andrew's new Lego game, Ramses' Pyramid. Good fun, but pretty complicated for the kids first time. I'm sure they'll be able to explain it to me next time, though.
