Supposedly there is a pot of gold at the end of one of these where an Irish fairy would store his pot of gold. A modern fairy would no doubt invest his hard earned earnings in a 401k/Superannuation , It also makes you wonder if Imelda Marcos would have been a client of said Irish Cordwainer, to cater to her needs.
