Old teaching the young

Patrick had his first stint as Ref today. As a big Under 12 he was on the bench helping out for the under 10s team and there was only 1 ref available - Normally there is 2 per game. ref said to him "Hey Paddy it's about time you gave reffing a go isn't it?" - So he said OK and went and found a ref shirt and became the 2nd ref for the Under 10's game. He loved it. The 1st ref helped him out a lot and gave him lots of pointers and at the end of the day Patrick was given his own whistle.

He was totally chuffed.
