Trouble in the street

I live in a really quiet part of our village. But yesterday there was a lot of yelling and argueing at the neighbours across the hallway (2nd floor) about an hour later the police arrived. And an ambulance. Apparently a 'friend' of our neighbour 'fell'(?) off the balcony. Or maybe he was pushed or maybe he jumped, under the influence of harddrugs?
I don't really know what happened, but somehow the guy that was yelling the most ended up beneath the balcony, with serious back injury.
