Bumper cars

Mr Toad & son went off to Oldham to watch the football so I went for a walk down to the River Dee.
The promenade was awash with people, the boats were taking the trippers for excursions along the river there were pedallos and rowers out in force and a tea dance quartet were playing "Aint she sweet" in the bandstand, which gave it all a nice holiday atmosphere for the start of the May bank holiday weekend.

Further along on the Roodee car park the fair was in town.
