Grub Up!

Parent Moorhen dragging a snack for it's chick. This was taken in the Bristol Floating harbour. I didn't realise there were Moorhens in the harbour as there aren't banks or rushes for them to nest in?
May be they nest under the ramps and steps in the Marina which house the House Boats?
It only had one chick which probably tells how vulnerable they are in open water to the Gulls?
