Mini iris

I was never very fond of iris. Over the years I had noticed that they come in a variety of sizes and colors. The more I noticed, the more they grew on me. Then I found a mini iris that comes in a bluish/purplish color that doesn't occur too often in nature. Botanists actually refer to this color as blue.
I started off with one plant. I have since given plants away and look forward to further dividing the ones I have. Needless to say, I patiently await their bloom every year! Pic was taken in Fords, NJ.
