Take me out to the ballgame...

Colby's first games began today in a day long event in Norridgewock. Due to heavy rains this week on already wet fields, our previously scheduled round robin tournament in Skowhegan was cancelled. Some quick thinking on BJ's part before the event was cancelled secured the field in Norridgewock and allowed us to schedule games with Madison, Skowhegan and our own Norridgewock teams.

First game started at 8:30, and the final game ended at 6:00... a long day indeed. Colby pitched the first game, did pretty well considering the early hour and the first time jitters. His at-bats produced some runs and the team walked away with winning 2 out of 3 games for the Red Sox. His Braves team looked strong as well, and I think he does even better on that team, performance wise.

All in all, a beautiful day!
