Landscape near Rogate, West Sussex
On a new camera! Today I used the new Polaroid iS2132 Bridge Camera I bought yesterday on offer in Argos! It cost less than the little Samsun I have been using up to now when that was new. The results seem to be satisfactory but it needs more practice and experimentation. It has to be a step up from what I have been using, but it is not as handy as the Samsung as it is not something you can put in a pocket!
I developed a neck rick yesterday morning which kept me awake last night and it continues today. We did go out though, and Mum and I went and had lunch at the nursery at Trotton and then a look round Petersfield. On the return journey, I stopped at a layby just on the edge of Rogate and took this shot of the scenery. Rogate is the furthest Parish west of West Sussex along the A272 and borders Hampshire. The soil is on Lower Greensand and the terrain is gently undulating. With a mix of coniferous trees and broadleaves, I always think this landscape is the nearest locally that you'll see that resembles anything Continental, especially the areas of Southern Germany I have passed through on holidays in the past.
