Pretty in pink

I am delighted with this tulip as it is in its second year and is still looking gorgeous. Friends bought the bulbs for me during a holiday to Holland and I read many bits of advice about storing tulips so that they would grow again the next year and almost all advised against it, as the second year of flowering would be disappointing and not worth the effort of drying and storage. I am thrilled this particular tulip has proved to be thoroughly robust - I might even try and stretch it into a third year.
