Seeing red ....
.... And white, and blue, and silver. Just back from a 600 miles round trip to Yorkshire in this gorgeous little beast, a Peugeot RCZ-R, hailed as the most powerful French car currently made. It only has a 1.6 litre engine, but with turbocharging it has a 270 bhp power output, is capable of 155 mph flat out, and can squirt to 60 mph in under six seconds. Vroom.
The trip north was to join a meet of 15 RCZs on the North York Moors. The cars were a mix of colours and their owners were a great bunch of people. We all had lunch at a moorland pub where the portions were big enough to feed a family, never mind a person. Petrolhead heaven, but not so good for the waistline!
