Kite Festival

This weekend there is traditionally a kite festival in Weymouth. Unfortunately in recent years the numbers have been dwindling and there were very few kites flying today. This wasn't helped by the fact that there was very little wind. Previous years the sky has been alive with kites, quite a spectacular sight. We didn't stand and watch for many minutes, as there was so little to see, but we walked the length of the prom and it was lovely to see that children were still keen to be kite fliers. There were quite a few of them having fun along the beach flying their own kites.
