Bjarne

To Strathclyde Uni for a talk by the creator of C++, Bjarne Stroustrup.

I had been working near Glasgow and had left in good time, but went to the wrong uni. Ended up on the clockwork orange and running through hot crowded streets to get to the right one. Arrived just as Bjarne came on stage and proceeded to perspire generously in the unventilated theatre.

Not my usual response to programming languages.
