Puffin Spotting

A return visit to the RSPB reserve at Fowlsheugh, south of Stonehaven. Hanging over the cliff to get this one. We only saw six, but the cliffs were teaming with thousands of guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes and fulmar. Noisy and somewhat smelly.

Second day of our Niece's 20th celebrations. A delicious Chinese meal at lunchtime, followed by the birthday girl being blindfolded and given a stick to hit a piñata in the garden. She put a lot of effort into it, and eventually made a hole big enough for lots of sweets to fall out.

Bird-spotting late afternoon, and then a stop for photos at Dunottar Castle and Stonehaven before heading to #1's place for the evening.
