Boxing day walk

G and I went out for a walk on the beach today. We had a philosophical discussion about pebbles on the beach. Then a lovely lunch, the highlight of which, for me, was my Mum's strawberry pavlova. We watched Flushed Away which is actually rather funny. I like the Millicent Bystander line.

If we take care of the moments, the years will take care of themselves. Maria Edgeworth
