Sunday at the Beach

Drove over to the beach today for some beachcombing, deep thought and sunshine. Encountered these fellas along the way. They were fun to watch. This is part of a large flock that was along the shore, facing the wind. Whichever way it turned they would turn so their feathers wouldn't get messed up. The sandpipers were more entertaining with their technique of approaching the waves to eat from the sand, then run away, run away, run away when ever a wave higher than their heads approached them, but unfortunately I didn't get a very good still shot of them.
