Ferns unfurling - spring at Kirkwood

A certain little lady's 1st birthday today so a lovely visit to Biggar - there was cake, party food, bubbles you blow & bubbles you drink, children, animals ...

It was the first time I've been in the woods there at this time of year - everything's a bit further on that it is at NMB and just wonderfully tranquil, so, despite plenty of pics of a fabulous owl cake & bubbles (the ones you blow), I ended up blipping some ferns!
