Bleeding Hearts
More tidying in the garden yesterday and the shot I was intending to use in the evening didn't work out, so, so this is a 'back blip'.
Taken while we were replacing some of the edging around a seating area and not normally accessible with a camera & tripod. These are white bleeding hearts, the more usual variety has a pink/red outer hence the name. Too much breeze and too little time for focus stacking so I have used flash to allow for a small aperture, still not quite all in the DoF though.
There is a second purpose here, we have it in mind to move house at some point and Gill wants a set of shots of the plants in the garden partly for herself and partly in case whoever buys this house wants to know what is in the garden and how to look after it.
