Dandelion Dreams

Some glints of light on the way back from town this morning, so I managed a quick shot of this beautiful Dandelion Seed Head in a Bluebell field. I like the dreamy quality of this shot.

As today is Cinco de Mayo I am cooking a Mexican dish of Chicken with peanut mole for Margaret's mum and dad.

Cinco de Mayo is the Mexican equivalent of St Patrick's Day in the United States: a celebration of Mexico's culture, heritage, and a good excuse to party.

So hope you are all having a great May Day Holiday. Shame the weather is not as warm as Mexico, but a few rounds of tequila shots could get the party started.

Blackbird update: A large Crow was in the vicinity of the nest this morning. There was a lot of noise but our fabulous Blackbirds fended off the foe. All the chicks are safe and cosy in their nest, oblivious to the danger. Will update some more images on Blipfolio.
