Sitting Ducks On The Towpath....

....just relaxing by the river as I was on this lovely day. A quiet weekend for me, but the next two will be hectic with grandchildren's birthdays, so a leisurely walk to the river Cam and a sit down on the bench with coffee from the little kiosk. I must add that as a youngster, I would almost certainly be sitting on the towpath with my feet in the water and with a fishing net and jam jar complete with string handle, hoping to catch a few sticklebacks or tiddlers. I would be here whenever off school with friends. Although I moved away from Cambridge for many years, I returned 25 years ago and love living here.
