Converging parallels

I liked the converging lines on this photo of our local "Metro" track, but it looked a bit boring when I first looked at it (with a reasonably blue sky on a nice spring morning).

However I think it looks better this way - I darkened the sky and then had some fun with the colour sliders in Photoshop's "B&W" layer settings. (Happily there isn't actually any snow in Newcastle at present, even though it almost looks as if there is!!).
