des res
Went early this morning before work to see how our local peregrines are doing, met fellow blipper Dave and enjoyed some good fly pasts and a little feeding.
I thought you may like to see there nesting des res on the side of an old mill in Belper, Derbys. By the end of the summer it will probably be a bit smelly up there, they are not good at cleaning up. This was a change over with the female taking a short flight to stretch her wings.
The eggs aren't hatched yet but should be any day. All other local peregrines are now hatched. As I am in Oz for the rest of May I hope not to miss the best bits when the young fledge.
Thanks for your good wishes on my leg injury, they worked and its making a brilliantly fast recovery now , those medics have been spot on with fast aggressive treatment !!
Ive added 3 more shots in my blipfolio, please click here and scroll backwards.
