park and slide!

This was the much-hyped water slide in Bristol. As you can see it was pretty crowded, and yet I felt somewhat deflated by the event. We had been promised a slide down Park Street, a hilly part of town that people have been known to ski down when it snows. What we actually got, and what the press footage fails to show, was a half-arsed attempt at something that should've been great.

My thoughts on seeing it? Is that it? It must've been the length of only a quarter of the street, and I saw no one going down it the whole ten minutes I stood looking at it. Very underwhelming.
