Sunrise, Lichfield Drive, Weston Park

A big effort to get up for sunrise this morning. I'd approached the Park Operations Manager at Weston Park with a proposal to capture images of the park at times when people would not usually have access. He very kindly allowed me the opportunity and this was my first visit.

It was a glorious morning and it was really just the problem of choosing a location within the 1,000 acres of parkland. In the end I headed east along the Lichfield Drive towards the rising sun. This was taken at 5:53 am, 24 minutes after sunrise. I spent another hour and a half exploring the immediate area, taking photographs and notes for future visits.
