Grandma's Poet

Evan's class worked on poetry all through the month of April. Evan truly enjoyed it. He was very excited for the poetry reading his class put on today. Jim couldn't come, but Grandma & Grandpa joined me. We got to look through his collection of poems, help him write a new one, ate snacks, and listened to the "Spotlight Authors" read their favorites. Evan volunteered to read a second poem! Quite something for this child who formerly suffered from extreme stage fright.
