The Sweeps Parade

The Sweeps festival finishes with the sweeps parade - about 3pm today. The mobile 'bush' in this shot is a person with leaf camouflage!

When I went down to the High Street to work in the shop there were only High Vis jacketed stewards milling about and people opening up stalls and shops, it was sunny and very peaceful.

It was rather 'slow' in the shop today too until after 11 when things picked up. When I left about 2pm it was quite busy but still not shoulder to shoulder like some years, although the weather was very good. I joined Fred and Alex in one of the beer tents for a band playing with a fiddle and guitar and spoons(guest star!)
