Crucible

So, I made it to the Crucible Snooker World Championships, negligently leaving a 40-week pregnant partner at home. Yes, I am terrible. But, hey, it's snooker.

Despite growing up in Rotherham, I've never been to the snooker at the Crucible before so it was very exciting. We saw the morning session of the semi-final between Mark Selby and Neil Robertson - lots of tactics, a few big breaks, the odd joke, and a few interruptions. You're obviously not allowed to photograph once the players are out, so this was the best I could do.

And still no baby, so that gamble paid off nicely.
