Termites!

After its first flourish the Black Eyed Susan went backwards.

Turns out the screens were not fully treated and eight strands in the middle are full of termites, turning the wood to dust and the plants to sorry strands.

Creosote has been bought and hopefully the wee beasties will soon be a thing of the past and we will soon have an abundance of orange flowers to look out onto.
