Pura vida...

...the expression is used in many forms in Costa Rica, one of which is used by surfers to mean roughly "Life is wonderful, enjoy it".

Just had my first ever surfing lesson with Clive pictured and spent the morning learning about "chicken wings", "lizard legs" and the "pop up".

By the end I was able to stand on the board and ride some waves - ok they were small ones but still what an amazing feeling...Pura Vida!
