The Surrey Hills...
Unsure what to do today, we jumped into the car and headed to Abinger Hammer. The car park was busy, but we followed a line of cars into a field, where we parked on a hill for £2!
Our quiet afternoon, turned out to be a teddy bear's picnic, so after the usual fishing in the stream (where this time my wife caught a fish), we pottered around to get a burger before hitting the stalls.
We won a few jars of sweets before deciding to head off to Newlands Corner for an ice cream and take in the view.
The after was spent eating cakes before I tackled the lawn. Not a bad way to spend the bank holiday.
