Foxy Frost
Another early morning walk with no one about. Juno and I had ascended the east rudge that could have done with crampons this morning. I fact all the paths have been trampled to make opaque sheets of ice. Juno stood for a while looking down at the area below the hill, I saw nothing then suddenly a fox ran across way below us, she must have smelt it stood marking.
Found a golf flag on the top of Blackford Hill and decided to walk over to the golf course and return it. This was probably safer than attempting the sheet ice paths so we headed of piste.
What a cracking morning, the distant wind farms were resting this mroning in the stillness.
Coming up the last slopes the resident buzzards took off in front of us and struggled in the cold air to reach the heights.
Must be a reasonable hour as we met a lot of dogs and dog owners at the car park. Juno bored with my company, found some energy to play with the dogs.
Back home we got a lovely gift from Ladyship , thanks the kids are delighted with the biscuits.
Off to play football in door this afternoon and the girls team are having a game afterwards.
