Move and yer gettin it!
It was a beautiful still evening and the thought of staying inside did not inspire me so it was on with the boots, camera in hand and off towards the Dalmeny estate.
One of the great things about living in South Queensferry is that the countryside is literally on your doorstep and before I knew it I was strolling thru where all the lambs and their mums were "hanging out".
One of the reasons for heading there was to see what the bluebells were like in one particular spot where I have seen them in previous years and sure enough they were out in abundance - will be back to blip them another day.
But what caught my eye tonight was these 2 Pheasants "staring each other down". Which one would attack the other? Would there be feathers all over the place?
Well the lambs that were spectators to the potential dual were not too bothered..and when there "pals" came over to see them, the pheasants thought better of it and headed of to the woods!!
