Garrettstown Day 7.

After being housebound all day, we stepped out with purpose and walked to Howe Strand. This building, we found out later, was a coast guard station which was built in 1910 and then burnt down during the civil war around 10 years later.

There were lots of blip-worthy things to be seen on this walk, but alas I can show only one. And this is the one I've chosen.

Finally made it to the Blue Horizon pub which was finally open - you'd think it was off season or something. Also happy to report that the mobile sauna arrived today - it's a bit like all our Christmases have come at once.
