Snowmen on Guard

We came across these two snowmen on our way to work this morning, standing guard at the crossroads of the Middle Meadow Walk in Edinburgh. Sadly, someone had obviously followed their urge to destroy them, as by home time they were reduced to two piles of snow, which is a shame as it's cold enough for them to have lasted for a few days.
