She's A Wonder........

Today was the Milton Keynes Marathon. Unlike the last time I attended this event the weather was superb. I was in T shirt as opposed to the Peter Storm and sturdy shoes in 2011. I made camp at 17 miles and it soon became clear that the field wasn't filled with an abundance of Mo Farah wannabees. So many people were reduced to walking pace by this stage. Not that I can blame them. The furthest I've ever run is 13 miles and anyone who subjects their body to a marathon always has my utmost respect. Didn't see too many people in fancy dress or carrying fridges but Wonder Woman did catch my eye.
