Poker night...

Having professional chefs for friends really does pay off sometimes.

Was through in Glasgow having dinner and playing poker with some old school friends. We had 2 wonderful chinese curry dishes which were conceieved from scratch by Dangerous Al. Everyone helped chip in their little bit and helped out played the role of Commis chef to Al's Head chef. Made it all the more delightful.

Dinner split up to games of poker in which I did surprisingly well. One foolish mistake lead to my downfall in the first game but I overall managed to keep my composure for most of the game and managed to scrap back from single figure chips in the second to take the pot. All finished on a Staight against a Flush which made the poker all the more satisfiying.
