You say it best, When you say nothing at all...

Today ended Toolibelle's week with her brother.

Initially she wasn't coming. Exams are very, very close, and right up til the last minute we weren't sure if she would have exams during this week or not. She headed back today, to get sorted, and get a couple of days revision in before the exams start.

To have surprised her Big Bro, and to have seen his life here in the USA and watch his graduation has been a great adventure for her.

To say Au Revoir, not so much.

I read my children well, and she started to close down last night.

Easier to say nothing at all than verbalise how you are feeling.

She did well, she did so, so well. Right up until that point when she realised she was going to have to go through the Departure Gate with out us. Without him.

Not knowing when she will get to see him again is a trauma for her. Up til now -he was always here May to August.... this year... nope. He's going for an interview tomorrow, and depending how that goes, and any others he may attend.... maybe not til next year.

So the hugs were aplenty, the tears too.

And then poor Boy had to do it all again 2 hours later with Gal.
