8 o'clock, monsieur? No!... A Wheatear............
............and from that terrible joke we move on. Had a great day today travelling around Snowdonia stopping at Swallow Falls where i got some nice pics, Betws Y Coed for coffee and pics of bubbles and ended up getting a very pleasing night shot of the Menai Bridge with traffic trails following a hearty meal. However, the most exciting thing for me was stopping in a layby on one of the Snowdonian roads and seeing a Wheatear! Now this is the first time i have seen one, maybe not unusual but 1st sighting always fantastic especially as it kept coming back to some large rocks to give me a super opportunity to get it in the camera. Window down and clicked away. Also saw a Rock Pipit, also probably another 1st for me! Chose this pic of the Wheatear to blip as it shows a bit of its surroundings. Me happy of course! :-) :-)
