We Conquered Montseratte!

Monseratte is a mountain right next to Bogotá with a chapel on the top. We had been told ever since we arrived that we should go up, but we didn't get round to it till today. Some people had suggested we get the funicular up and the cable car down, but Abi wouldn't hear of us doing anything other than walking up, so walk we did. We nearly died several times on the way up (it's a tough climb, especially at altitude) but we made it and the view from the top was awesome. We also visited one of Simon Bolivar's houses and had a second birthday party for Jen. Long day but good fun, and nice to spend some more time getting to know the Colombians better.
